For 70 years CIEE has been committed to bringing the world together through meaningful international exchange programs to help humanize international relations. Serving over 400 U.S. Colleges and Universities, CIEE operates sixty-five study centers in forty-five countries, helping over 10,000 students study abroad annually. In addition, CIEE is the largest sponsor for U.S. Department of State J-1 Visa programs, helping nearly 30,000 international students visit the U.S. each year. Internship Program: Yes

You've studied abroad with CIEE; now help others do the same! The alumni internship program identifies a group of exceptional alumni – who have participated in a CIEE Study Abroad program – to serve as paid interns at our Portland office or a CIEE Study Center for nine weeks over the summer. Summer interns are given an engaging and challenging project that has a high impact on both the students’ professional skill set and CIEE’s family of programs.
