Flight Deck Brewing is a fast-growing production brewery and retail tasting room on Brunswick Landing (the former Naval Air Station). A seasonal, second location is set to open in Bath this June at the Maine Maritime Museum.

We're seeking a reliable, hands-on Brewery & Production Assistant to support day-to-day operations in our brewery. This role is essential in keeping our brewing facility running smoothly, especially during packaging and canning runs. Your work will directly support our production team and ensure that our beer reaches customers in top condition. This position reports directly to the Head Brewer, but will have a slate of independent responsibilities. This position is preferred at full time, but a part-time role will be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with canning and packaging operations.

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of brewery equipment and workspaces.

  • Support inventory handling of raw materials, cans, and finished product.

  • Operate and clean packaging equipment under supervision.

  • Help with shipping and receiving of supplies and deliveries.

  • Follow all safety and quality procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (example: our brewhouse is the first thing tens of thousands of customers a year see when they come in our building - hiding from the public isn’t physically possible!)

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 55 lb. bags up to shoulder height.
  • Must be able to move 175 lb. kegs across the floor.
  • Attention to detail and an eye for cleanliness is a must.
  • Stand for an entire 10-hour shift.
  • Must be able to work in tight environments and be able to bend or kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Self-motivation and proactive attitude.
  • Must be 21+ to be considered for the position.

  • Prior brewery experience.
