Are you a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner looking to make a profound impact in Lewiston, ME? St. Mary's Regional Medical Center invites you to become an integral part of our esteemed Behavioral Health Emergency Department team.
Experience Required:
Graduation from a state-certified advanced practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health.
Unrestricted license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant.
Unrestricted DEA registration and state-issued Controlled Substance Registration (CSR).
Registration with the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP).
Child capable certification.
Preferred: 2 years of direct patient care experience in psychiatric disorders.
PMHNP certification is required.
Position Highlights:
Enjoy a flexible 3-day-a-week schedule with rotating weekend coverage (every 5th week).
Benefit from a flexible 12-hour schedule (7a-7p, 8a-8p, or 9a-9p).
Serve as Admission Officer for inpatient units, collaborating closely with on-call Psychiatrists and ED Physicians.
