For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible New Graduate Registered Nurses!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:
The Registered Nurse - New Graduate – Home Care role, in accordance with national standards of nursing practice and within the guidelines and policies and procedures of both MHCAH and the Maine State Board of Nursing, the Registered Nurse – New Graduate – Home Care role is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the effects of nursing care.? All new Graduate RN’s (less than 12 months of RN experience) hired into regular status positions are enrolled in the New Graduate RN Program at MHHHH.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Valid Driver’s License to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy required.
  3. Experience: N/A
