In this role, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our providers and ensuring exceptional patient experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting providers with examinations, procedures, and phone triage.
  • Greeting and checking in patients, obtaining vital signs, and performing patient history assessments.
  • Contributing to medication reconciliation and scheduling necessary tests.
  • Facilitating the precertification process and sterilizing medical instruments.
  • Managing appointments and following up on patient results.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Maine Licensed (Allied Health) certification preferred. CPR, AED and BLS certified. Phlebotomy certificate a plus. Minimum of one year experience in an outpatient medical clinic, hospital or office setting. Demonstrate the skills to provide age-appropriate care.

General Information

Full-time, 40 hours/week with a flexible schedule offering options for both 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM schedules.
