Avesta Housing is seeking a Director of Admissions to work at our assisted living facility, 75 State Street. This position is responsible for achieving maximum occupancy and total revenue potential of the community by attracting qualified prospects to the community from professional outreach activities, inquiries, tours, and other sales related initiatives.

Located in the historic West End neighborhood of Portland, Maine, 75 State Street is a nonprofit senior community offering a continuum of care that includes Independent Living and Assisted Living. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Previous management/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in marketing/admissions required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work occasionally outside of traditional business hours including weekends.

This is an exempt, full-time position, with an annual salary range of $70,000 - $85,000.
