The Opportunity Alliance is seeking a full-time Residential Services Technician to join the team at The Bridge. The Bridge, one of our numerous group homes, located in Portland, that offers intensive individualized treatment of adults with co-occurring conditions. 

You will provide supervision of the residents and help to provide necessary support for accomplishing tasks of daily living. In addition, you will contribute to identifying needs or emerging needs, medication administration, personal support, watchful oversight, and milieu management. You will contribute to maintaining a clean and organized facility and in maintaining staff office, charts, and documentation. 


This is a Full Time 40 hour/week position located in Portland, ME. 



  •  High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training in mental health preferred. 
  • Must become certified as Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT1) within 1 year of employment; then maintain required trainings to uphold continuous MHRT1 status.  
  • Flexible schedule is required. 
  • Must be able to able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check. 
  • Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list. 
  • If MHRT is required for position you must pass CNA registry check 
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen.  
  • Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, driving, typing and frequently lift and carry material weighing up to 25 pounds. 
  • Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area. This may include transportation of clients or driving to agency location to complete work. A good driving record is required
