IT Helpdesk Specialist, End User Services

Tyler Technologies is seeking an IT Helpdesk Specialist to provide technical end-user computer assistance to Tyler employees in our Yarmouth, ME office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service focus, with prior computer troubleshooting experience with Microsoft Windows, Windows Server, Office 365, and Active Directory. The candidate should be self-directed, quick to learn new technologies and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Provide computer/system support for Tyler’s employees by phone, email and in-person.
  • Install and configure hardware and software.
  • Install and maintain any application software and required supporting software to support customer needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve MS Windows, MS Office, and Active Directory Issues.
  • Troubleshoot VPN and remote user’s issues via phone.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
  • Manage and monitor backup procedures.
  • Implement and monitor Tyler IT installation standards and default configurations.
  • Resolve and document issues in a timely manner consistent with all service levels


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience/certification
  • Demonstrated or previous experience installing, configuring and supporting operating systems, PCs, printers and other hardware
  • Typically requires 2+ years of IT experience
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast paced, technical environment
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude
