Senior Manufacturing Test Technician - Day Shift

The primary role of this position is to test, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul a variety of electronic products. The Test Technician accumulates, and records electrical test data as required, for each product tested, calibrates and maintains test stations and equipment, may help to develop new test fixtures and general department maintenance. The Test Technician must comply with all Quality Test processes and procedures. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7AM – 3:45PM.

Functions & Responsibilities

• Test products per assigned process
• Maintain accurate records at all times.
• Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
• Ensure that all established ESD, safety, ergonomic and security policies are being followed.
• Continuously look for ways to improve the Test procedure / process.
• Will be expected to communicate with Engineering, Program Management and the Customer on an as needed basis.
• Must be able to take a lead role in the Department.
• Must be able to train new hire Technicians

Job Requirements

• Ability to work alone and in a “Team” environment.
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with maintaining and calibrating electronic test equipment
• Perform in-process and or final assembly tests.
• The ability to understand and analyze test data.
• Must be able to work with little supervision or direction.
• Must have good trouble shooting and rework skills.
• Must have keen abilities to understand, analyze and draw conclusions from test results and present to management if required.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing operations a plus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot PCBs down to the component level.

Educational Requirements

• 2- or 4-year College degree or have taken advanced certified courses or 4-6 years of appropriate work experience.
