As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we serve more than 8,200 patients annually through over 32,000 medical, dental, and behavioral health visits. About the Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time or part-time Dentist to join our dynamic, mission-driven dental team in Dexter, Maine. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide high-quality dental care to patients of all ages in a collaborative, supportive setting that values both clinical excellence and community connection.

What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive dental care including exams, restorations, extractions, and preventive services
- Diagnose and treat oral health conditions including cavities, gum disease, and infections
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and disease prevention
- Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and the broader care team
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using electronic dental records
- Support outreach and integrated care initiatives as part of our whole-person approach
What You’ll Need
Required:
- DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school
- Active Maine dental license
- Experience in general dentistry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to team-based, patient-centered care
Preferred:
- Experience with pediatric patients
- Interest or experience in advanced procedures (e.g., implants, periodontics)
- Familiarity with digital charting and EDR systems
