Cybersecurity Coordinator
Location: Remote

Our client is seeking a Cybersecurity Coordinator to lead cybersecurity outreach and coordination efforts across statewide partners. This role is vital for enhancing cybersecurity awareness, readiness, and best practices at various levels and affiliated organizations. You’ll focus on delivering education, support, and strategic planning to local governments, helping them overcome cybersecurity vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver tailored educational materials and workshops.
  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives and ensure collaboration across stakeholders.
  • Promote best practices and resources.
  • Identify cybersecurity gaps and propose strategic improvements.
  • Foster relationships with partners to develop a comprehensive outreach strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in strategic planning, project management, or large-scale coordination (cybersecurity experience preferred).
  • Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity, IT, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.
  • Experience with federal programs or grants a plus.
