Are you ready to build meaningful relationships in the B2B renewable energy and sustainability sector?

In this exciting role, you'll have the unique opportunity to build and nurture relationships with senior-level buyers in the renewable energy and sustainability space. Imagine yourself as the key connector, bringing together industry leaders and solution providers at Smart Energy Decisions (SED) 1:1 hosted buyer events. Your mission will be to research, identify, and recruit top-tier buyers, facilitating impactful face-to-face meetings that drive business growth and innovation in the B2B landscape.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and Target: Use various communication channels like telemarketing, social media, email, LinkedIn, and more to identify and target buyer prospects in the renewable energy space.
  • Convert Leads: Turn key buyer leads into confirmed attendees through engaging telephone interviews.
  • Develop Prospect Lists: Build and maintain a robust list of potential buyers.
  • Lead the Journey: Guide both new and existing buyers from initiation to closure, ensuring a seamless and exceptional buyer experience.
  • Collaborate Internally: Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and event management teams to align efforts and achieve goals.
  • Gather Insights: Collect and analyze information about buyer needs and industry trends.
  • Engage Extensively: Conduct extensive phone outreach to connect with buyer prospects.
  • Deliver Exceptional On-Site Experience: Engage with buyers at events, listen to their feedback, and relay valuable insights back to the SED team.

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hosted Buyer Model Experience: Prior experience in the hosted buyer model is a plus.
  • Clean Energy Knowledge: Familiarity with the clean energy business is advantageous.
  • LinkedIn and Sales Navigator Proficiency: Experience with these tools is essential.
  • Sales and Prospecting Expertise: Proven experience in sales and prospecting.
  • Enthusiastic Outbound Calling: Ability to make frequent outbound calls with enthusiasm and perseverance is a must. Approximately 70% of your time will be spent on the phone.
