Sanford School Department has an opening for an Educational Technician level 2 or 3 at the Sanford High School to support students in the special education setting. Responsibilities include supporting the classroom teacher to implement lessons, work with students in small group and 1:1 as needed, to support students to access the general ed setting as appropriate. As an Ed Tech 3 your responsibilities would also include taking on a leadership position when the classroom teacher needs to be out of the classroom and contionue lesson plans if needed. Successful candidate will have expereince working in a school setting with students with learning disabilitites or in a position of providing care to others. Must have a current Maine Ed Tech I certification and fingerprinting/criminal history check.
