Position Summary

The Finance Business Partner supports financial reporting, analysis, and departmental planning activities across the organization. This role focuses on preparing and maintaining recurring reports, supporting month-end close and variance analysis, and assisting with budget and forecast processes for assigned departments. The position partners with business stakeholders and senior finance team members to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial information that supports operational and financial decision-making.This role is execution-focused, with an emphasis on data accuracy, reporting reliability, and consistent analytical support.

Job Description

Key Outcomes:

  • Prepare and maintain recurring financial and operational reports and dashboards.
  • Support month-end close activities, including variance analysis and documentation of key drivers
  • Assist with departmental budges and forecasts for assigned business questions and management requests
  • Maintain and update financial models, templates and reporting tools
  • Provide ad hoc financial and operational analysis to support business questions and management requests
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business performance and support informed decision-making
  • Contributes to continuous improvement of reporting, analysis, and financial processes
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial data and reporting outputs

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or closely related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a related analytical role Healthcare and/or health plan experience is
  • Experience working with large data sets and translating data into clear, usable insights

Skills/Knowledge/Competencies (Behaviors):

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a matrixed environment Solid understanding of financial statements, basic accounting concepts and GAAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., Axiom, SQL, data warehouses)Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and reliability
