Millinocket Regional Hospital has an immediate opening for a Full Time Switchboard Operator/In and Outpatient Admissions Clerk
Main Duties: Processing in- and outpatient registrations, answering the switchboard, and miscellaneous clerical duties in the Patient Access Department.
Qualifications: Must be a high school graduate with exceptional customer service skills. Written and verbal ability to communicate effectively with patients, doctors and co-workers. Self-starter with the ability to work independently, evaluate information, and exercise good judgment. Previous office experience, medical terminology, computer, and insurance knowledge preferred. Previous switchboard experience preferred.
General Information: Full-time position. Varied days and shifts, 32 hours per week. Sunday 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Monday 7:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Tuesday – Thursday 7:00 a.m. Hours may vary to cover vacancies and holiday rotation is required.
