Job Description

Oversee the Test and Activation audit program, procedural compliance, document lifecycle management, trials preparations, and trials coordination. To influence operational readiness, training, and technological improvements. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain a comprehensive and effective audit and compliance monitoring program.
  • Ensure Test and Activation auditors are trained and conduct regular audits within established procedure.
  • Maintain risk analysis framework and conduct periodic risk assessments of procedures and processes to mitigate potential issues.
  • Maintain Test and Activation SharePoint site and associated document libraries used for compliance documents and procedures.
  • Participate in sea trials as trial coordinator as needed.
  • Perform root cause analysis and problem resolution.

Required/Preferred Education/Training

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate Degree in Technical Field or equivalent experience in Marine or Industrial Manufacturing, Merchant Marine operations, or U.S. Navy operations preferred.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certified preferred.

Required/Preferred Experience

  • Experience with compliance programs preferred.
  • Highly motivated, with strong attention to detail, with proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with document retention programs and policies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with SharePoint is preferred.
  • Ability to work and communicate cross functionally and with all levels of customers inside and outside the Company.
  • Experience working with represented employees preferred.
  • Security clearance or ability to obtain Security clearance.
    • This position requires you to be able to obtain a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration and you must be able to obtain an interim security clearance within the first 45 days of hire.
