Title: JumpStart Summer School Program Teachers and Ed Technicians (Anticipated)
Dates: June 30-July 24, 2025 (Mon-Thurs: 1/2 day)

Qualifications:

1. Eligible for appropriate Maine Department of Education certification (020, 029, 081, 282 preferred)
2. Eligible for Ed Tech certification (Ed Tech positions only)

REPORTS TO: Jumpstart Director

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides learning opportunities in the following areas: Reading, Writing, and Mathematics

2. Develops lesson plans, units of study, and instructional materials to provide customized, small and large group instruction.

3. Communicates with families regarding student learning and outcomes.

4. Creates an effective learning environment through a variety of learning tools, games, and interactive lessons.

5. Varies instructional techniques to address individual learning styles.

6. Advances the vision, the mission and school improvement efforts of the school district.

7. Other job-related duties as assigned by the Jumpstart Director
