L.L.Bean is currently searching for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our cybersecurity team in our IS department. We welcome the opportunity for this role to be hybrid based at the corporate headquarters in Freeport, Maine, or to be based remotely in the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin.
Position Purpose: The Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity incidents, maintaining the current security tool stack, and advancing the security operations by collaborating with the team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and incidents and perform triage and analysis.
- Assist in the investigation and response to cybersecurity incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Support the development and maintenance of incident response playbooks, procedures, and workflows.
- Participate in threat hunting activities to proactively identify potential threats.
- Collaborate with other teams to implement security controls and best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
- Manage and document security tools, processes, and procedures, ensuring adherence to standard practices.
- Support 24/7 on-call requirements to respond to security incidents and emergencies.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or related field.
- Experience with threat and vulnerability analysis models such as the MITRE ATT&CK Framework, Cyber Kill Chain.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Basic understanding of enterprise security solutions frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST, PCI-DSS, ISO).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
