The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $135,000 - $194,000
Job Summary:
This leadership position will report to the Long-Term Planning and Investments Vice President and is responsible for Networks long-term business planning, investment reporting, and other business analysis.
This position is also responsible for partnering across all areas of the Networks business to develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive and improve financial performance across Networks with an emphasis on P&L and Rate Base optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the long-term financial projections of Networks for management, rating agencies presentation and Group consolidation.
- Monitor business developments and quantify impact on the plans and business.
- Update the enterprise valuation based on discounted cash flows for the goodwill impairment assessment both under USGAAP and IFRS and completion of the internal controls related to this process.
- Supervise Investment proposals from the Networks business to ensure the profitability of new capital projects / rate cases.
- Provide support in regulatory proceedings and analysis of potential impacts on the financial statements.
- Prepare analysis and valuation of non-organic growth, such as potential future Company acquisitions and divestments.
- Identify and lead operational efficiency improvement projects collaborating with each Networks function, and Corporate where appropriate, to drive financial performance improvement.
- Lead special projects including investment and cash flow analyses as needed across Networks.
- Prepare presentations and key reporting to the Executive team and Board.
- Actively contribute to the design and implementation of planning tools.
- Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or other related fields with at least 10 years of relevant work experience in the Finance / Control area preferably in the Utility/Power generation sector.
- Expert knowledge in Corporate Finance and Investment valuation techniques.
- Proven ability to perform complex business financial analysis, including full P&L and Cash Flow, identifying areas of potential improvement, and implementing optimization strategies.
- Ability to synthesize information identifying key elements to communicate at a senior leadership / executive level.
- Proven ability to collaborate, influence and get work done with / through others at multiple levels of the organization including executive interaction.
- Excellent analytical, presentation and written / verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and proactive capabilities.
- High-level abilities to deliver and drive execution.
- Ability to prioritize individually and across the team.

Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA with Finance emphasis.
- IFRS and GAAP experience.
- Utility/Regulated business exposure.
