Client Technologies Specialist
Location: Augusta, ME (Onsite)

Our client is seeking a Client Technologies Specialist to provide exceptional customer service and technical support in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone skilled in desktop support, inventory control, and resolving technical issues while fostering strong relationships with business and IT teams. You will ensure that technology requirements align with department operations and proactively address user needs to enhance system performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide desktop computer support and serve as the primary point of contact for technology services and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate the testing, upgrades, and installation of new hardware, software, and system changes.
  • Monitor and manage inventory control for computer equipment, including procurement, installation, and retirement of obsolete hardware.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Develop and deliver user training on system functionality and best practices.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve system performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of technical changes, troubleshooting, and solutions for future reference.
  • Manage antivirus protection and ensure system backups are performed effectively.
  • Assist in the coordination of service outages and provide timely communication updates.
  • Evaluate and recommend purchases of technology to meet operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in desktop support, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, network systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Familiarity with installing software patches, upgrades, and virus protection programs.
  • Ability to manage hardware procurement and the disposal of obsolete equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and end-users effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
