Dresden Elementary School is seeking a dynamic Pre-K teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will create a nurturing classroom environment that fosters early childhood development through play-based and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. The ideal candidate exhibits a blend of professional skills and personal qualities, including patience, empathy, creativity, strong communication, organizational skills, and a passion for early childhood education.
Dresden Elementary School is a vibrant PreK-5 learning community serving approximately 73 students. Our small size allows us to provide individualized attention and create a close-knit environment where every child and teacher is known and valued.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Must hold (or be eligible to hold) - Maine Early Education Teacher Certification (081)
• Must hold current Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) certification
