Penquis, a social services agency serving Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Knox counties for over 50 years, is currently seeking a part-time (24-32 hrs. benefit eligible) Restorative Justice Facilitator to work in the Restorative Practice in the Workforce Program. As a Restorative Justice Facilitator, you will be responsible for providing coordination of services which includes training community partners in restorative practices and facilitation of circle dialogues in Penobscot and Piscataquis counties. The Restorative Practice in the Workforce program collaborates with Northeastern Workforce Development Board and Eastern Maine Development Corporation (EMDC) to offer a restorative approach for both employees and employers to establish restorative practices in resolving conflict in the workforce.
This position is based out of Bangor with required travel throughout Penobscot & Piscataquis Counties

Restorative Justice Facilitator Responsibilities:
The Restorative Justice Facilitator will also have the opportunity to facilitate circle processes for Penquis’ Restorative Justice Program for juveniles.

The rate of pay for this position starts at $19.46-27.25 per hour, as additional compensation may be given consideration with relevant experience.
