Job Description

  • This is a full-time (35 hour per week) benefits eligible, student school year position for our Academic Support / Title I program.

    Collaboratively support students in Kindergarten through Grade 3 to aid with essential learning standards for math and literacy.

    Education / Certification:

    Experience:

    1.Experience supporting students who need academic support.
    2.Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.

    Special Knowledge / Skills:

  • Ability to support struggling students.
  • Ability to plan, conduct and supervise small group and individual instruction.
    Ability to make data informed decisions about student learning
  • Knowledge of intervention strategies for supporting students not meeting grade-level benchmarks.
  • Skills to operate under a pro-active and flexible schedule.

Job Requirements

  • Must hold or be in the process of obtaining a Maine approved CHRC and Educational Technician III authorization at the time of hire.
  • At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
