RSU5 is seeking an Instructional Strategist to collaborate with and support the district Middle School teaching teams at Freeport Middle School and Durham Community School in grades 6-8.
The successful candidate will support the professional growth of staff through observations, targeted feedback, modeling lessons, student work analysis, co-planning, sharing of best practices, and running professional development. The work of the instructional strategist also includes the ongoing development of robust multi-tiered systems of support that impact students’ growth.
Position remains open until May 7, 2025.
Requirements:
Must hold valid Middle School level Teacher Certification (K-8, 6-8, or 6-12) from the ME Dept. of Education.
