Patient Service Representative - Internal Medicine
Answers and greets people in a friendly, professional manner. Promotes a smooth flow of patients through the office and helps to create a calm, supportive atmosphere, able to perform various tasks as required in a medical practice paying attention to detail and accuracy, conducts all interactions with patients and personnel in a courteous, respectful manner while maintaining confidentiality. The incumbent is required to conduct all job responsibilities consistent with Southern Maine Health Care policies, procedures, and in compliance with all applicable laws or mandates relating to patient care and business activities.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Medical Office experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective cash collection skills.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to organize and coordinate multiple activities.
Able to adapt to constant change and fast pace of group.
Valid Maine drivers license.
Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
