As a Marketing Automation Specialist , you will work with teams across the business to design, analyze and optimize multi-channel marketing journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud - nurturing leads, driving cross-sell and product utilization, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with stakeholders to design and support the development of multi-channel marketing automation projects
  • Understand out-of-the-box Marketing Cloud functionality and digital marketing capabilities to solution marketing automation designs that deliver on stakeholder objectives
  • Engage with the strategy team, internal customers and technical staff, e.g. in discovery workshops, to align objectives with automation capabilities and priorities
  • Translate business requirements into journey design, acquiring technical team and stakeholder green light
  • Create technical requirements/specifications for data and journey engineering
  • Manage journey development and journey updates end-to-end, acting as a lead for the project from initial kickoff through requirements analysis, design, and implementation and QA phases
  • Analyze journey performance, provide recommendations to stakeholders on testing strategy and enhancements, and continue to optimize journeys throughout their lifecycle
  • Proactively identify issues / obstacles and recommend appropriate courses of action
  • Communicate plans and results to key stakeholder across lines of business

Qualifications Required:

  • 3+ years experience in a technical leadership role designing, building, and executing complex automated marketing programs - ideally with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • 5+ years experience delivering highly-effective digital/email marketing campaigns
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to conceptualize and communicate highly detailed technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to take initiative and lead, motivate, and oversee teams to produce results
  • Team player attitude and ability to work in a high energy business environment
  • Must be able to present a strong and diverse portfolio of marketing automation and/or digital channel marketing samples.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, information systems, or related field
  • Salesforce Certifications
  • Good understanding of other Salesforce solutions (Sales & Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Customer 360, Tableau, Mulesoft)
  • Experience in consumer healthcare lifecycle marketing a plus
  • Leadership skills to facilitate discussions through cross-regional, cross-cultural teams, also remotely
  • Strong understanding of project mgmt methodologies (Agile, SCRUM etc.)
  • Understanding of marketing KPIs and analytics
