The full-time Behavioral Health Clinician for the Recuperative Care Program (RCP) provides mental health, substance use, and health and behavior screening, assessment, and intervention in a respite care setting. As part of a healthcare team, the Behavioral Health Clinician models an inter-disciplinary, integrated behavioral health approach to providing quality patient care.
Required:
- Master’s degree in social work and licensed as a Clinical Social Worker by the State of Maine required.
- Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments for medical and mental health conditions.
- High level of comfort in working with primary care medical providers using a consultative style.
- Competence in emergency assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of various psychiatric/chemical dependencies to adequately meet position requirements.
