Instructional Strategist 6-8
The Gorham School Department has an opening for a Special Education Instructional Strategist at Gorham Middle School. Certification as a special education teacher (282) or special education consultant (079) required. The Instructional Strategist is a special education teacher and team leader who will consult with teachers on intervention efforts, oversee the referral processes, and work with staff to monitor progress of pre-referral interventions. This person will have a leadership role in facilitating IEP meetings, conducting evaluations and observations, and providing resources and strategies to teachers and parents. Ongoing training and professional development provided.
