Schedule: Pool/Per Diem
OurHoulton location has a great position for a Chaplain wanting to make a positive difference in someone's life! Your responsibilities would include providing chaplaincy services to clients in their home by visiting assigned clients to establish dialogue, assess needs, provide spiritual care and guidance or discuss personal problems. You would assist and counsel dying clients and their families; assist and educate other home care personnel and community clergy in counseling for client care. You would contribute input to healthcare providers on medical/ethical issues. In addition you would play an integral role in collaborating with other members of the client care team.
Master's degree in divinity or related fieldand one year of experience with parish, missionary, chaplaincy or other pastoral work; OR a Bachelor's degree in divinity or theology and ordination (Minister, Priest, Deacon, Rabbi, Iman or equivalent) with two units of Clinical Pastoral Education and two years of parish, missionary, chaplaincy or other pastoral work
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
Evidence of effective communication skills, using verbal, written and telephonic means
Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and agency required auto liability insurance.
