The schedule is 30 hours per week. A hybrid schedule is available with 2 days onsite. The schedule is negotiable, but would prefer a 5-day work week.

This Medical Librarian position specializes in EResource Discovery and Access to ensure access to the library's extensive range of online information resources and digital collections. Responds to calls for help, troubleshoots and solves hardware and software problems across multiple campuses, monitors overall system performance, implements improvements, and works with the Director to develop long-range technology plans. Communicates with and manages relationships with vendors, compiles usage statistics. Provides customer service to colleagues throughout the MaineHealth system in a fast-paced clinical environment.  

MLS/MLIS strongly preferred

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Associate's Degree plus a minimum of one year of relevant administrative work or comparable relevant work experience in an administrative position, preferably in an education or health care setting required. 

 2. License/Certifications: N/A 

 3. Experience: Experience in a customer service-oriented role coordinating and facilitating initiatives/activities in a complex environment involving multiple stakeholders required.
