We are seeking a Restorative CNA to provide assigned Functional Maintenance Programs (FMPs) to residents. The FMPs are directed by a physician and developed by the rehabilitation staff (PT, OT, SLP). This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, on days.
Job responsibilities include:
- Assists in scheduling residents for treatment and transporting them to and from the rehabilitation area.
- Prepares the resident for treatment (dressing, positioning, etc.) as needed and prepares equipment necessary for treatment.
- Observes and reports changes in residents' functional status and activity level to the Physical Therapist or Licensed Nurse.
- Ensures that all charted progress notes are informative and descriptive of the services provided and of the residents' response to the service and fulfill the requirements under the plan of care.
We are the first nursing facility to embrace the Small House Model design in the State of Maine. We are a 108 bed skilled nursing home with all private rooms and on-suite full bathroom. There is also a 30 bed residential care neighborhood for those in the early stages of dementia. We are proud to serve our nations Veterans’ and provide excellent care to maximize their abilities.

Requirements
- Must be active and in good standing on the state of Maine CNA registry
- Experience in a long-term care setting preferred
- Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
- Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
- Basic computer skills
