Location: Augusta, Maine
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the hiring, team building, and day-to-day management of store personnel to achieve the sales plan, control expenses, protect company assets, and ensure that the mission of Goodwill Northern New England is positively shared with customers.
We require candidates to have strong leadership skills and experience in scheduling, team supervision, and customer service while attaining productivity goals. Prior experience in retail at a supervisory level is also required; preference for those with an Assistant or Store Manager background in a multi-line retail environment.
Our store revenues fund our nonprofit mission to invest in people who need support to achieve their work and life goals. Goodwill NNE’s programs include workforce training programs, 22 group homes that support adults with disabilities, community supports for adults with disabilities, AmeriCorps programs, and business-cleaning services. We also operate two brain injury clinics to help people recover after a brain injury.
