Woodfords Family Services has an exciting opening for School-based Behavioral Health Professionals (BHP) in Turner, ME! This is a full-time position that supports a 13 year old male at Tripp Middle School.


Position Summary

As a School-based BHP, you will work one-on-one with a child or adolescent within the public school setting to help achieve learning and development objectives. Individual goals are assessed and related to the learner's behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, and community inclusion.

Through the use of evidence-based practices, you will help foster a therapeutic, enriched, and meaningful learning environment for students with developmental, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders


What we're looking for:

Full-time, Monday through Friday; No Weekends!

7:15am - 2:00pm schedule (hours may vary based on school schedule)

$20.00 - $22.00/hour - commensurate with experience

$1,500 Sign-on Bonus - Paid after 6 months employment!


Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, social services, education, or related field.

    Ed Tech II, or III eligibility. Minimum of 60 college credits.

  • BHP certification (course can be completed as part of employment and paid for by Woodfords)
  • Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle
