We are excited to be partnering with one of our fellow employee-owned companies here in Maine – Moody’s Collision Centers.
Moody’s is a multi-site collision repair company and environmental leader,. They are seeking an experienced Controller to add to their team. The Controller will lead the organization’s Resource Management team.
Responsibilities
Lead a Resource Management team of 9
Manage monthly accounting close – payroll holding, accruals
Assist in the annual budgeting process

Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for 14 locations

Preparation of annual taxes

Administer our 401k and ESOP plans

Organize and complete our annual audits related to the Form 5500 filings.

Backup on payroll

Support Safety Coordinator

Oversee and support insurance policies and coverage – property

Asset Management

Support Expeditors in statement reconciliation

Reporting
  • Preparing Board of Directors financials
  • Monthly Estimator KPI reporting
  • Monthly shop meeting KPI reporting
  • Bi-Annual Leadership Financial Reporting

Successful candidates will have high-level, full-scope accounting experience within a related industry. Must have strong experience with balance sheets and accruals and be willing to jump in and help with all areas of the Resource Team. Advanced EXCEL experience is required.

Salary will depend on experience. Compensation includes project sharing and ESOP participation.
