Excellent Part-Time Certified Nurse Midwife Opportunity!!

Blue Hill Women's Health Care seeks a Certified Nurse Midwife with immediate availability for call and office coverage. The candidate will join one CNM and one OB/GYN in the practice of family centered midwifery. Experience with VBAC, water birth, homebirth/birth center birth and intermittent monitoring is preferred. Ability to function as a team player in our dynamic practice is essential. The practice is approximately 75% OB and 25% GYN.

The Certified Nurse Midwife provides full scope midwifery care to women of all ages during scheduled office hours and through on-call coverage with care provided at multiple sites. The CNM is an independent practitioner with admitting privileges, who consults with, collaborates with and refers to physician colleagues as appropriate. Qualifications include MSN in midwifery with AMCB certification, NRP and eligibility for Maine APRN licensure. Ability to First-Assist for cesareans and to perform limited OB ultrasonography is preferred.

Blue Hill Hospital is a 25 bed critical access hospital, serving a small rural population which expands in the summer months.
