Receptionist / Customer Service Representative
Location: Portland, ME
Job Type: Temp to Hire, Full-Time | On-site
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Rate of pay: $20/hr.


About the Role

We’re hiring a Receptionist / Customer Service Representative for a full-time, in-office role. This position is ideal for individuals with experience as a bank teller, reception, administrative assistant, or customer service roles who want a steady Monday-to-Friday job in a low-stress office environment.

You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and customers, provide in-person and phone support, and handle basic data entry and order processing tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys structured routines.


Responsibilities
  • Greeting all walk-in guests, customers, vendors, and tenants and communicating with employees where necessary.
  • Data entry and order processing
  • Answering phones and providing customer service and order updates


Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in a receptionist, bank teller, or customer service role
  • Comfortable using basic office software (email, MS Excel and Word)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Friendly, professional, and detail-oriented
  • Able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
