Falmouth Public Schools is seeking on-call/substitute school food service workers for positions in the elementary, middle and high school cafeterias.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and experience with food preparation, proper food handling and sanitation procedures preferred.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written communications.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment and maintain positive relationships with students and co-workers.
Falmouth Schools are located on a 100-acre district K-12 campus in Falmouth Maine, a coastal community bordering the city of Portland. Our campus features extensive fields, trails, gardens and hoop houses, and rich opportunities for collaboration between schools. Over the past three years, each of our three schools in the district has been a recipient of the National Blue Ribbon Award: student achievement is exemplary and the community takes great pride in all academic, co-curricular, and athletic accomplishments. Additional:
The current starting hourly rate for this position is $20.02. An approved district-run background check is required.
