NFI North is seeking a Residential Counselor at Summit View in Bangor, ME to work 2nd shift Wednesday-Saturday. The program is a 6-bed children’s residential treatment program serving ages 13-21. Here you will work as part of a team to provide care and treatment interventions which help youth return successfully to their family or next placement.

Responsibilities: Supervise the daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance and role modeling. Facilitate participants improvement in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, medication monitoring and administration, community living skills and behavior.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and/or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with client population.
