Title: Fundraising Coordinator
Reporting: Executive Director, Philanthropy, St. Mary’s Health
This position supports department operations for St. Mary’s Health System’s development office and provides executive administrative support for St. Mary’s Executive Director of Philanthropy.
The ideal candidate enhances the Foundation’s ability to serve our donors, maintain accurate and useful data, and improve our ability to use data in decision-making. Actively supports the Foundation team in building relationships, administering the charitable funds entrusted to us, and raising additional funds. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate must be flexible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and provide exceptional support. The ideal candidate will be a positive, kind, and professional role model in the organization and have a reputation for problem-solving and troubleshooting in an evolving business environment. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information and to use considerable tact and diplomacy in interactions with staff, internal leadership, board members, major donors, prospective donors, sponsors, volunteers, and external partners. Successful candidates must be deadline-driven and can multitask in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities.
Education and

EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in fundraising information systems/database management.
Skills and Competencies:
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
Advanced proficiency with CRM/fundraising information systems (Raiser’s Edge,
Ability to effectively prioritize, multitask, and produce accurate, meaningful, and professionally formatted work products under demanding timelines.
Demonstrated project management, planning, facilitation, problem-solving, and decision-making experience.
Excellent follow-up skills, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail.
Outstanding verbal, written, editing, and listening skills.
Commitment to the ethical use of confidential and sensitive information.
Strong commitment to quality work and high productivity.
Strong customer service orientation and demonstrated an ability to work both independently and as a collaborative member of a team.
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to connect and collaborate with donors and fundraising partners within and outside the organization and at all levels.
Technologically savvy in the handling of administrative practices.
