Specific Job Details:
Starting Fall 2025
The position may require irregular hours, including some evenings and weekends, depending on the athletic schedule.

Some physical tasks may be involved, such as setting up equipment or facilities for events.

Occasional travel may be required for away games or tournaments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
    • Assist with scheduling athletic events and practices.
    • Maintain and update athletic department records, including eligibility, athlete rosters, and insurance documentation.
    • Assist in organizing transportation and logistics for away games and events.
  • Event Management:
    • Help coordinate home athletic events, including setting up facilities, ensuring proper equipment, and supporting event staff.
    • Serve as a point of contact during events for coaches, athletes, parents, and visitors.
  • Equipment Management:
    • Assist in maintaining and organizing athletic equipment and uniforms.
    • Ensure that necessary supplies are stocked and that inventory is accurate.
  • Student-Athlete Support:
    • Provide assistance with managing student-athlete eligibility, including tracking grades and attendance.
    • Help with coordinating physical exams, consent forms, and other documentation.
  • Facility Coordination:
    • Assist in the scheduling and maintenance of athletic facilities.
    • Ensure facilities are set up properly for events and practices.

Certification/License:
Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work ability
  • A willingness to learn and grow professionally as workplace needs change
