Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement department-wide strategies to enhance patient care, improve operational efficiency, and drive positive outcomes.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of nurses and support staff.
- Clinical Excellence: Ensure adherence to clinical standards and best practices, promoting a culture of quality and safety.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage department budgets and resources effectively to optimize operations and achieve financial goals.
- Community Engagement: Collaborate with community partners to address healthcare needs and expand services.
Are You the Right Fit?
- Highly Skilled Nurse: Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Maine.
- Proven Leadership: Demonstrate experience and excellence in managing and leading healthcare teams, motivating staff, and driving positive change.
- Commitment to Patient Care: Prioritize patient satisfaction, deliver compassionate care, and drive initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and improve the overall quality of care.
- Clinical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of emergency, inpatient and acute/critical care practices. At least one relevant certification (e.g., Emergency Nursing, Critical Nursing and/or Nursing Leadership) is preferred.
- Collaborative Spirit: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to think critically, problem-solve effectively, and develop innovative strategies to lead departments towards operational excellence.
General Information:
This is a full-time, salaried position. BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certification required or obtained within 6 months.
