Full-time Advisor
for Oxford Hills High School
Position is based in the Oxford Hills School District. Provide academic, career, and educational counseling; assistance with the entire admissions and financial aid application process, as well as motivational and academic support for program participants in grades 5-12. Position requires a Bachelors degree in counseling, education, social work or related area; a candidate for this position should have successful experiences working with people from disadvantaged backgrounds; excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; demonstrated ability to interact and work successfully with target population in group and individual settings, and community agencies; strong self-motivation and ability to work independently. Must have the ability to travel extensively within the service area. Frequent travel requiring a valid driver’s license required. Projected start date is January 2025. Re-appointment contingent on external funding and job performance. Salary: $26,500-$38,000 for 9 month academic calendar year with excellent fringe benefits.
