We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team! We are looking for someone to be in our Yarmouth, Maine location fully onsite (5 days per week).

Responsibilities

  • Commissions Processing: Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient commissions processing, including validation, calculation, and payout on a monthly basis.
  • Financial Analysis: Support the FP&A teams by performing financial analysis, conducting budgeting and forecasting, and preparing financial reports and presentations.
  • Financial Models: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial models, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for multiple divisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze divisional financial performance, identifying key trends, variances, and risks.
  • Insights and Recommendations: Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive business decisions and improve overall performance.
  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with Sales and Business Operations teams to resolve commission-related inquiries and issues.
  • Process Improvements: Actively participate in financial systems implementations, process improvements, and projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably within a software or technology company.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and financial models.
    • Helpful if experienced with accounting software MS365 and commissions software like Captivate IQ.
    • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present financial information clearly.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
