L.L.Bean is seeking a Merchandise Coordinator to join our Merchandising organization at our corporate headquarters in Freeport, Maine. In this role, you will support the outerwear, kid’s and accessories category teams from a systematic and tactical standpoint. If you have a passion for product, we want to hear from you! This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office.

Position Purpose: Perform procedures necessary to support merchandising of the product line. Perform various administrative duties to support department programs and staff. Maintains systems and records in support of job functions as assigned. Ensures timely and accurate response to assigned work functions to accomplish goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the tactical work of the Design/Merchandising team
  • Assist with the preparations and logistics for Media and Event shows
  • Assist with the preparations and logistics for onsite and offsite meetings
  • Assist with tagging and logging of photo samples
  • Perform additional related duties as requested

Assist with systems and data

  • Assist with the set up and maintenance of information systems and Excel worksheets.
  • Collect, verify and record data
  • Produce designated reports
  • Maintain calendars

Assist with Product coordination and maintenance

  • Load/unload product
  • Package/unpackage product
  • Process and prepare product
  • Liquidations

Education Level: Vocational/Technical Degree

Years of Experience: 1

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Build understanding of the business function supported, and related equipment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer skills, including databases
  • Detail oriented
  • Initiative and follow through
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proven ability to adjust & respond to business changes
  • Effective time management & organizational skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
