RSU5 DURHAM-FREEPORT-POWNAL Librarian- One Year Only (2167/2168) 2025-2026 Morse Street School/Pownal Elementary School Morse Street School (PreK-2) and Pownal Elementary School (PreK-5) in RSU5, are in search of a dynamic librarian/media specialist to join our vibrant school communities. This role involves teaching library class as part of our innovative specials teams. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the school library collections, and ongoing collaboration with school staff to support use of the library to enhance the learning environment across the school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for growing readers, cultivating joy in the learning process and educating children about the role libraries play in our society today. Requirements: Must hold (071)- Librarian/Media Specialist certification from the ME Dept. of Education. Position remains open until suitable candidate is found.
