The Role

As a Payroll and HRIS Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple states and supporting our international payroll operations. Your expertise in ADP Workforce Now will be instrumental in enhancing our HRIS capabilities, ensuring data accuracy, and streamlining processes. Collaborating closely with the HRIS Manager and Benefits Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in annual reporting, audits, open enrollment, and compensation processes. What You’ll Do

  • Process weekly multi-state payrolls accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate on international payroll activities, including reporting and issue resolution.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in payroll compliance and stay updated on regulatory changes.
  • Maintain data accuracy in payroll systems, including deductions, benefits, wage garnishments, and accumulated time.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Provide training on Time & Attendance systems and payroll processes for new associates.
  • Manage unemployment wage verification, employee verification processes, and payroll-related forms.
  • Partner with the Benefits Administrator on 401(k) enrollments, terminations, and modifications.
  • Prepare reports for Finance, including disability and FICA payment records, and approve payroll-related invoices.
  • Complete year-end tasks such as W-2 forms, taxes, and open enrollment verification.
  • Partner with People Business Partners on new hire activities, onboarding, associate questions, and payroll related situations.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS Manager to manage day-to-day payroll related HRIS transactions, ensuring data accuracy for new hires, promotions/transfers, supervisor changes, etc.

Who You Are

For the Payroll and HRIS Specialist role, we are looking for:

  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (required)
  • 3-5 years of experience in Payroll, HRIS, Finance, or Data Analytics.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent judgment handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience in developing process improvements and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to change.
