Maine Veterans’ Homes – Bangor is currently accepting applications for their next CNA class. By enrolling in our CNA ”Earn While You Learn” program, you will gain an invaluable introduction into the healthcare industry, while providing high-quality care to our Veterans, their spouses, and Gold Star Parents and earn wages while you learn how.
After completion of the CNA course and passing the state competency exam, students transition to a full-time CNA position (we ask for a minimum one year commitment of full-time employment).

Experience and Skills
Participants must meet the following criteria to be accepted in the "Earn While You Learn" CNA Training Program:
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Complete a Pre-Hire Employment Screening
- Complete CASAS Reading/Comprehension
