Summary:

Maine Coast Hospital is pleased to be able to offer an opportunity for direct contracting for CT/Rad Technologists to come and experience what it is like to be part of the team and mission. We are opening to applications from interested CT/Rad techs who would like to work directly for the organization in a traveler like role. These CT/Rad Techs will become part of our team as temporary per diem employees for a period of 13 weeks. Techs will be scheduled as needed in the departments in consultation with the manager of the area, and may be assigned to other areas based on business needs. Positions are available on both nights and days. At the end of the 13 weeks, we welcome you to join our team as a permanent employee in a full time, part time, or regular per diem position. Responsibilities:

• Performs both routine x-ray and CT examinations from start to finish.
• Maintains high quality of exams.
• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
• Maintains and replenishes special procedure supplies (needles, catheters, etc.) as directed by the Radiologist.
• Operates EI Pacs system and communicates with the Radiologist and other providers.
• All other assigned duties as needed.

Other Information:

• BLS Required.
• At least one year of experience in radiology.
• Registered Radiographer- ARRT.
• CT experience also required.
• Degree from accredited Radiology program.
