Kennebec Behavioral Health, established in 1960 and named one of the Best Places to Work in Maine for the last 4 consecutive years, is currently seeking a dedicated case manager to join our Homeless Outreach team. This hybrid position includes traveling throughout Kennebec County to meet with clients and complete administrative tasks remotely.
A Homeless Outreach Case Manager provides street outreach to the unhoused population who are also experiencing serious mental illness or co-occurring with substance use disorders. The client engagement is a key element to the success of the work, meeting with clients in a variety of locations while assisting them with referrals to help them to meet their basic needs. This position is dedicated to supporting and empowering participants utilizing evidence based practices.

Requirements – B.A. or B.S. in Social Services, Mental Health or a related field is required. MHRT/C or MHRT/C provisional required. Experience with billable case management preferred. Valid Driver’s License required. This position is well-suited for someone who is comfortable working independently and utilizing technology.
