Full job description
Skillin Elementary School is looking for a knowledgeable teacher who has a passion for teaching students with disabilities in a diverse elementary school setting as a special education teacher long term substitute.
This position is for a teacher who can provide special education instruction and resource support. This position requires creativity and problem solving to match teaching objectives, learning strategies, and instructional plans with students’ abilities.
Candidates must be an excellent communicator, a strong team player within their classroom, as well as a member of a dynamic team of special educators.
State of Maine Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) authorization required. State of Maine Teaching certificaiton - Special Education - required if this position last for more than 30 days.
